You Should Be So Lucky Spiral Theatre Company presents a play by Charles Busch at their new space, Bucketworks. Weekends starting April 18th ending May 3rd. SPIRAL THEATRE puts its own twist on a contemporary Cinderella story set in Greenwich Village reminiscent of the classic screwball comedies of the 1930s. Christopher, a shy and eccentric young electrologist, helps a millionaire, Sy Rosenberg, when he faints in the street. Rosenberg, touched by Christopher’s generous spirit, becomes his benefactor and sends Christopher off to a fabulous charity ball where he meets his Prince Charming, in the form of a neurotic young publicist. Fate takes a turn when Rosenberg dies suddenly of a heart attack in Christopher’s electrologist chair, and he leaves half of his millions to Christopher. Tickets are available for purchase online.

CLASSES ARE IN ACTION!
Sessions run 4 class blocks and include participation in
the open practice on Thursdays! Classes are held in the
Bucketworks Playspace.

Arson Etiquette offers 3 sections:
INTRODUCTION TO POI AND STAFF--taught by Susie
-this class is for those with little or no experience
with the fire arts and prop manipulation. you will
walk away with your own practice tools and an
introduction to the basic poi and staff moves.

MIXED LEVEL POI--taught by Gene
-students taking this class must be fairly familiar
with the basic poi movements and already have their
own practice poi. moves one should know include 3 beat
weave, butterflies, corkscrew, windmill, turns, buzz
saw, and basic stalls. Gene will work with each
student individually to ensure everyone is challenged,
no matter their skill level.

MIXED LEVEL STAFF--taught by Shawn
-students taking this class should be comfortable with
the basic staff movements such as rotors, figures of
8, shotguns, finger spinning, hand wraps. Shawn will
introduce new moves to each individual's level.
(students taking this class are STRONGLY encouraged to
have a real fire staff for practice. we are more than
happy to make you one or point you in the direction
for an internet purchase)

Fire is not used in these classes! When spring comes
and the warm weather returns, we will host a virgin
burn for all those who are ready!

Arson Etiquette asks that students commit to all four classes in the
session, for their own benefit, and that payments are
made up front.

Arson Etiquette also STRONGLY encourages students to participate in
the free open practice on thursdays nights, also at Bucketworks.

Session cost is $65 for the four classes.
