The Internet and the Arts: How new technology affects old aesthetics

The Chicago Cultural Center (77 E. Randolph Drive, Chicago) is hosting an event next week Tuesday morning regarding the Web 2.0 movement as it relates to the arts. Please see this informational flyer. The keynote speaker is the co-author of a study by the Pew Internet and American Life Project, which can be found here.
I will be attending at least part of the event; if any of you are interested in making the trek down to join me, please sign up for this event on the Web414 site (you'll need an account on their site to do so-- but who doesn't want a Web414 account?) by Friday afternoon (4/18/08). I will RSVP for all who sign up.
Questions? E-mail me.
