There will also be a cash bar with half of the proceeds going back to Bucketworks, so come on out and dip your beak!

On May 22, 2002 I signed a lease for a space on the first floor of 1319 N Martin Luther King Jr Dr and, with the energy and inspiration of friends like Steve Servais and Melissa Merline, began to transform the detritus of a printing company and press workshop into Bucketworks. Now Bucketworks is 10 years old, and it's time to celebrate!
Join us on June 8th to celebrate! (6pm to 11pm)
If you're a Facebook user, please RSVP on our Facebook event page.
If you've had anything to do with Bucketworks--ever used it, gained from it, created something with it, staffed it, volunteered at it, supported it--created it--please come and celebrate with us. Bring your stories in written form, or write them on the spot, and drop them in our Story Collector. We will also have some entertainment, some libations, and conversation that will give you energy and inspiration for the next ten years.
This celebration is only the first in a year of celebration. We'll be sharing media, images, movies and stories from the first ten years, highlighting the history of Milwaukee's creative community: the people who made things happen, who rolled up their sleeves and brought their visions and inspirations into the world. In addition to our June 8 party, we'll be hosting a variety of events throughout our 11th year (wow, 11th!?) to showcase the activities and achievements that continue to make Bucketworks a fun place to be and create.
To all that have made Bucketworks what it is today, and to all that have created new ideas, new art, new businesses, and new communities of friends and collaborators: Thank you. I'll see you on the 8th!
